PARENTING AND FAMILY RESOURCES

Our public, private and parochial early care and development center teachers in Pointe Coupée are using the Frog Street™ curriculum for infants, toddlers and pre-k children. This is a research-based curriculum approved by the LA Department of Education. “Parents as Partners” is a component of the weekly lesson plan learning and development lesson plans. Also a key component of your young child’s learning and development with Frog Street™ is the Conscious Discipline® piece.  Through Conscious Discipline® your young children are learning invaluable life skills such as self-regulation and mindful social-emotional skills that will prepare them for school and life.
